This is a historic institution originally serving as a social service center and later as a technical school for underprivileged children.

It can be visited all year long, though weekdays offer a chance to see educational activities.
Initially, the St. Vincent Institute of Maggona was established to propagate Christianity in the 1870s, and later it was converted to a rehabilitation center. It gives the technical training facilities in lathe work, painting, bookbinding, carpentry and many other things.
