Seenigama Devalaya

This is a shrine dedicated to Devol Deviyo. It is a place of worship and rituals, often visited by those seeking blessings or justice.

It is located on a small island near Hikkaduwa and approximately 100 km from Colombo.
When?
It can be visited all year long, though mornings are ideal for a tranquil visit.
Seenigama Devalaya is located on Galle Road. Because of the erosion, the main temple is located on the land, but there is another temple on a small island. People believe that the Devol god is listening to their grievances and helps them to overcome them. Many people come to worship this place because of these beliefs.
