The Dutch Reformed Church located in Galle Fort was originally built in 1640, but the present building dates from 1752–1755. It has a baroque façade, two gables, stained glass windows, the floor paved with gravestones from the old Dutch cemetery, the organ that still stands in the building, and an impressive pulpit made from Malaysian wood.
