Point Pedro is the most northern point of Sri Lanka, located on the Jaffna peninsula. There is about 435 km from Point Pedro Lighthouse to the most southern point of the island, Dondra Lighthouse (Dewundara). Accompanying the area are two significant historical sites, including the Point Pedro Lighthouse and Vallipuram Temple. Visitors find Point Pedro attractive because it brings together historical heritage and natural wonders.
