It is located at Dondra Head, the southernmost point of Sri Lanka, near Devinuwara, approximately 6 km southeast of Matara and approximately 162 km from Colombo.

When?
It can be visited all year long, with the best views at sunrise or sunset.

Dondra Lighthouse is located at Dondra Head, which is the southernmost point of Sri Lanka, just 5km from Matara town. It is almost 50m high and situated in a beautiful garden.
