What? This is one of Sri Lanka’s largest ancient reservoirs, built by King Dhatusena in the 5th century. It supports agriculture and is surrounded by a wildlife sanctuary.

Giant’s Tank (Yoda Wewa) is an ancient tank in Sri Lanka, located in the Mannar district. It is the largest irrigation reservoir in Mannar, which covers an area of 3800 hectares next to the A14 Madawachchiya–Talaimannar main road. It supplies about 162 minor tanks with water used to irrigate paddy fields.
